McGINNIS

A native of
Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Susan’s work as an actress and performer has taken her to
cities all over the country including New York, Cleveland, and Los Angeles, as
well as to locales as exotic as Trinidad and The Philippines. Working as a New York-based actor for
twelve years, Susan was involved with several off-Broadway theatre companies
both writing and producing new works. She works in television and film as well, (Sex and the City, Carlito's Way, and others.) In 2003, she created Seaside Shakespeare, a non-profit
theatre company which performs the works of
William Shakespeare and other inspiring artists in indoor and outdoor venues on
Nantucket Island. While on-island, Susan was a member of Nantucket Improv. Both individually and with Seashakes, she has taught a
variety of theatre and Shakespeare classes for children at Nantucket Lighthouse School, Cyrus Peirce Middle School, and Nantucket High School, and offered many student matinees. She is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association and
Screen Actor’s Guild. Susan holds
a BA in Theatre from St. Mary’s College at Notre Dame.
