Brecksville Theater On The Square's 37th season continues with a new twist! The first of a new series of staged readings will take place March 25th-26th, 2011 with a pair of one-act plays dealing with issues affecting teens.

May I Have Your Attention, Please? by Catherine Rhoden-Goguen addresses teen suicide. A teenaged boy just wants to be loved by his family, but is instead treated like the black sheep. He assembles them together but instead arrives by videotape to explain the way he feels and why he must end his life.

Pickin' by Tyrone J. Butler addresses youth bullying, and the consequences of those actions.

Directed by Kimberly Bush, performances will take place at 7:30, with post-show talk-back sessions, in the historic Old Town Hall Theater on Public Square in Brecksville, at the corner of State Routes 21 & 82. The theater is handicapped-accessible.

There is no charge for these performances, and tickets may be reserved at www.btots.org, or by calling (440)526-3443.

*BTOTS gratefully acknowledges the citizens of Cuyahoga County for their support through Cuyahoga Arts and Culture.
