Gun shots ring out in the night and a sergeant is dead. A Soldier's Play
is a riveting mystery-thriller that tracks the investigation of this
murder in 1944 at Fort Neal, a segregated army camp in Louisiana. This
is more than a detective story though; it is a tough, incisive
exploration of racial tensions among blacks and between blacks and
whites that gives no easy answer. Charles Fuller's 1982 Pulitzer Prize
winning play opens this Saturday, March 26 at East Cleveland Theatre and
runs thru Sunday April 10, 2011. Reserve your tickets now by calling
216-851-8721.
