Patriots Symphonic Band to Fill the Stage at LCCC's Stocker Arts Center

 

Enjoy an evening of exciting, live musical entertainment from one of
Northeast Ohio's finest music groups, the Patriots Symphonic Band at
7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 9 at Lorain County Community College's
Stocker Arts Center.

Tickets are $12 for adults; $6 for students with a valid ID; $10 for
senior citizens; and free for children age 12 and under. Tickets can be
ordered online at www.lorainccc.edu/stocker, or by calling the Stocker
Arts Center box office at (440) 366-4040 from 12-6 p.m., Monday through
Friday. Tickets are also available at the box office, located in the
lobby of the Stocker Arts Center. The show is a Stocker Family Event and
is appropriate for all ages.

The 85 members of the Patriots return to the Stocker performance hall
with more of your favorite band music, in styles that include the "four
Bs": big band, Broadway, ballet and baseball. The Patriots will perform
a medley of songs by popular 1940s bandleader Harry James, and will
treat you to the tunes of the classic musical "My Fair Lady." A little
change-up to dance and ballet will be heard in selections from "Swan
Lake." Then "Batter Up!" for an exciting trip to the ballpark for "Casey
at the Bat." 

The audience will also be treated to selections including marches,
heart-warming melodies, and a classic Western movie soundtrack. Soprano
soloist Lorrie Coughlin returns to the stage to highlight several of
these pieces.  

There is no better way to feel the excitement and passion of music than
with a live musical performance. From delicate melodies to powerful and
stirring passages, the Patriots Symphonic Band will fill the hall with
sound and fill your hearts with excitement.
