I usually find myself nervous when I see things like “re-imagined sets” or
“new direction” in the same paragraph with the title of a Broadway classic.
I felt the same apprehension as I walked into the Palace Theater on Sunday
night. After all, the English-language version of *Les Misérables* has been
thrilling audiences for almost 27 years, can you successfully alter a legend
like Les Mis?
