Immediately following the Thursday, April 28, 6 pm screening of the classic
Katharine Hepburn-Spencer Tracy sports comedy, "Pat and Mike" (1952, dir
George Cukor, 95 minutes) noted dress historian Patricia Campbell Warner
will talk with Kent State University Museum Director Jean Drusedow about
Hepburn's influence on women's fashion.  Dr. Warner is a historian of dress
who specializes in women and sports, and movie history as it affects
American fashion 

 

The program is free with admission to the museum and presented in
cooperation with KSU's Women's Studies Program, College of Arts & Sciences,
and Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, and it supports KSUM's original
exhibit, "Katharine Hepburn: Dressed for Stage and Screen" running through
Sept 4.
