*Something Dada Goes "Beck to the Future"
*Something Dada Announces New Long-Term Collaboration with the Beck Center
for the Arts

*Cleveland:* Something Dada, Northeast Ohio’s longest running
improvisational comedy company, is pleased to announce a long-term
collaborative agreement with The Beck Center for the Arts in Lakewood.
Beginning Saturday May 14, and continuing for most Saturdays thereafter,
Something Dada will bring their unique brand of improvisational comedy to
The Beck Center’s Studio Theater—a 95-seat black box theater. The Beck
Center for the Arts is located at 17801 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood.

“Dada is thrilled to be performing at the Beck. The Studio Theater is a
perfect match for Dada’s interactive performances, and this is a great
opportunity for Dada to reach new audiences and reconnect with our
theatrical roots,” says Russel Stich, Something Dada’s general manager and
original cast member.

Tickets are on sale now and promise to sell out quickly. Seating is general
admission and all seats are $12. Dada’s performance schedule can be found
at www.somethingdada.com and www.beckcenter.org. Tickets for Dada
performances can be purchased at the Beck Center’s Customer Service Center
(located in the Beck Center lobby) or online at www.beckcenter.org.
Something Dada will no longer accept any “unpaid” reservations. All
reservations must be prepaid, either online or at the box office.

Something Dada first performed in May 1995 in their warehouse district
location, Cabaret Dada. After twelve years in that location, Dada eventually
settled at The Tower Press building where they’ve been performing for the
last four years. The move to The Beck Center will allow Dada more
flexibility for their ever-changing show. Plans include the reintroduction
of live music to the shows as well as an intermission and fan favorites like
“Photo-Op with a Monkey”.

Something Dada, Cleveland’s premier improvisational comedy company, has been
making Clevelanders laugh for more than 16 years. All Something Dada shows
are based completely on audience suggestions, meaning no two shows are ever
the same. Something Dada presents its signature brand of fast-paced, in
your face, hilarious improv comedy Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. in the Studio
Theater at the Beck Center, at 17801 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood. Something
Dada also performs for private events, corporate functions, school groups,
community festivals and more. For more information, visit
