Auditions for Godspell Saturday, May 28th at 2:30 p.m.

Lakeside Summer Stage (a community theater) will present Godspell on Tuesday, July 26th and Thursday, July 28th in South Auditorium, Lakeside, Ohio.  We will be auditioning high school teenagers and adults for this energetic show.  Auditions will be held on Saturday, May 28th at 2:30 p.m. in the Upper Room located on Second St. in Lakeside above The World Next Door shop.  

For Auditions:  It is extremely helpful if those who audition have read the script before attending.

  a.. Prepare a monologue and 16 bars of a song
  b.. Be prepared to read cold from the libretto with others who audition
  c.. Bring a resume with previous acting/singing experience
  d.. Bring a headshot if you have one, or one will be taken during the audition
  e.. Dress comfortably and be ready to move and interact with others
Note:  On audition day, to avoid gate fees, follow this procedure:  Enter Lakeside's SOUTH GATE (off route 163.)  Park in the South Lot.  Walk to the Welcome Center adjacent to the South Lot.  There you will receive an audition pass good for 3 hours time and free parking in the South Lot.  Take the shuttle (free) downtown to The Upper Room.  Take shuttle back to South Lot after you audition.

Lakeside is a historic community for families founded in 1873, located in the NE section of the Marblehead Peninsula on the shores of Lake Erie.  (Intersection Erie Beach Road and Route 163.)
