Hello theatre friends. Hope you had a great weekend!  We are all excited here at NCP!!!   Thanx to ALL of you... our most supportive fans, :)   We, once again, won for the "BEST PERFORMANCE ART GROUP"    We defended our title!! Thank you for
 your support!

     Yaaaa!  We have  UPCOMING AUDITIONS: 
 Check out these exciting
 opportunities!!!
 AND  SCREAMIN' GOOD TIMES...

"Bye Bye Birdie" auditions will be May 22nd at 7:00pm on the main stage!!    

Lisa Paynter director  :)   Please come with a song or part of a song,
no more than 2 min. in length. There will be cold readings from the
script. You may sing acapella or a cd player and accompanist will also
be available.
   Conrad Birdie must be able to "ham it up" as an Elvis-type in his early 20"s.
                      ( Possibly audition with Elvis tune?)
STORY: 
A rock star's personal appearance turns a small town into a disaster
zone!! With early 60's rock and roll music, awe-struck teenage girls (
and their boyfriends ), and the adults trying to keep some kind of
control, it's hard to tell how this will end up!!
 
****  In addition to MAJOR adult rolls, there are also lots of smaller rolls for ALL ADULT AGES!!!There are definitely small roles as parents of screaming teens! And more!  This
 should be a real BLAST from the past!!    Be sure to come out and audition!!



  AND:
" SPOTLIGHT ON YOUTH REPERTORY COMPANY" of the
 North Canton Playhouse. 
 Monday May 23rd at 6:00pm   Auditions will be held at our  Youth Theatre            at 1210 South Main st ( next to A Time to Dance Studio)

Needed are actors and actresses age 14 - adult who are able to pass as 

teenagers. 

Performances are held during the school day throughout Stark and Summit counties 

and actors are compensated.    

   ** Spotlight on Youth works to promote and increase    the health, safety 

and well-being of youth. Using dramatic presentations and  showing real life 

situations, Spotlight educates students about social issues and dangers 

effecting their lives and works to decrease violence, substance abuse and 

other issues facing them.

Sat .May 21st at 2:30 ONLY and Sun. May  22nd at 2:30. 
Thurs and Fri. May 26th and 27th at 7:30 
There is no show Sat. May 28th !!!
Sun. May 29th at 2:30
Thurs. and Fri. June
 2nd and 3rd at 7:30 and 
Sat. June 4th at 2:30 and 7:30. (Closing performance)

** You'll want to reserve early for this production!!    Seats will fill up 
fast!
