I Want to Play the Piano (Level I) Adults CAN learn to play the piano - even those who've never learned to read music before. Studies have shown that adults who actively engage in learning new things enjoy good memory health, and the more complex the activity, the better for your brain! Here's a way to have fun, learn something new, give yourself enjoyment for years to come, and it's good for you, too. Learn the important fundamentals of piano playing in a supportive environment with other adults.
I Want to Play the Piano (Level I)
Wednesdays; 7:00-7:45pm

Adult Piano Lab (Level II) Adults can learn in a group setting, piano skills, music theory, and performance technique. It is a relaxed learning environment among supportive adults from various professional and career backgrounds. Studies have shown that adults who actively engage in learning new things enjoy good memory health, and the more complex the activity, the better for your brain! All students should have access to a piano for practice outside of class; daily practice ensures advancement in keyboard proficiency. Pencils are necessary at each class.
