Have you completed 9th grade or are older? Do you enjoy doing musical
theater? Do you live in Lorain County? Then you should consider joining
Sandstone Summer Theater and participating in this year's production, All
Shook Up. This is the musical that is "“Inspired By and Featuring the Songs
of Elvis Presley” and by William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night.

Now, do you want a serious advantage when auditioning? Then you should check
out the first annual Sandstone Summer Theater Audition Workshop.

This summer, Amherst’s Premiere summer theater, Sandstone Summer Theater,
will once again embrace their roots as an educational organization and offer
a special one-time audition workshop for their 2011 production, ALL SHOOK
UP.

The Audition Workshop will be held this Friday, June 3rd from 6:00 PM-9:00PM
in the
Steele High School Cafetorium, at 450 Washington Ave. in Amherst.

Shawn Galligan (Director), Anthony Trifiletti (Music Director) and Alex
Arroyo (Choreographer) will be giving instruction on
how to give a professional audition.

Requirements for the workshop are:
*A short prepared monologue that you would like to prepare for future
auditions
*Sheet Music (16-32 bars) from a musical (similar style to ALL SHOOK UP) or
50’s rock and roll music
*Dress for movement

completed ninth grade or older and will be conducted. Registration for the
summer production will also be conducted at the same time as the Workshop.

"The master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work
and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his love and
his religion. He simply pursues his vision of excellence at whatever he
does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing.

To him he's always doing both."
