Play synopsis: 

A quirky drama-comedy about two terminally-depressed families, unhappy
parents and miserable children. This idiosyncratic play invites us to
examine all this suburban angst with fresh eyes. The oddball characters are
sympathetic, unique and there¹s even a runaway tiger thrown into the goofy
mix of situational realism and absurdist farce.

Characters:  

Sherry, 24:  Art Therapist, perky and quirky.
Grace, 29:  Sherry's older sister.  Depressed, couch potato.
Joseph, 50:  High school principal.  Sherry's boss.  Recent widower.
Zack, 19:  Joseph's troubled son.
 
Production dates:  October 21 ­ Nov 13, 2011
 
Audition:  Readings from the sides and will be emailed upon request.  Full
scripts are not available from Dobama.
 
AEA contracts:  There is 1-2 AEA Contracts available for this production.
(AEA contracts are based on the Special Appearance Agreement).  Non-AEA
Contracts will pay $450 each.
