Actors’ Summit, Akron’s professional theater company, follows up the
critically acclaimed musical *Some Enchanted Evening*, with a musical comedy
this summer.  *Five Course Love*, features three actors playing 15 roles.  A
romantic trio sings its way through five different restaurants.  The comedy
will open with a preview performance on Thursday, June 16, followed by the
official opening on Friday, June 17.  The play will run Thursdays, Fridays &
Saturdays at 8:00 PM and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 PM through July 24 at the
theater on the 6th floor of Greystone Hall in downtown Akron.


*About the Play*

Three actors play 15 different characters in five different restaurants, on
the hunt for one true love.  The evening begins at Dean’s Old-Fashioned
All-American Down-Home Bar-B-Que Texas Eats where a computer service blind
date goes char-broiled wrong.



At the Trattoria Pericolo, a mob wife has a secret rendezvous behind her
husband’s back that results in drama of operatic proportions.



The girlfriend of the waiter at Der Schlupfwinkel Speiseplatz, a dominatrix,
shows up unexpectedly followed shortly after by her other boyfriend, who is
also dating the waiter.



In Ernesto’s Cantina, Guillermo, a freedom fighter bandit rides into town to
battle Ernesto for the affections of the beautiful Rosalinda.



And at the Star-Lite Diner, a waitress pines for her true love and gets a
little help from Cupid in making her dreams come true.


*The Cast*

* *

* *

*Stephen Brockway* *just finished* **Some Enchanted Evening* at Actors’
Summit.  He has several national tours to his credit including *Will Rogers’
Follies* and C*arousel*.  Stephen has a BM in Musical Theatre from Baldwin
Wallace and Conservatory of Music.

* *

*Aubrey** Caldwell** earned her BA in Theatre from Ashland University and
her MFA in Acting from Florida State University.  Along with her acting
credits, Aubrey has sung the National Anthem at Dodgers Stadium and
currently fronts a local southern rock/blues band for hire called *Buckle
Down*.  .

* *

*Keith E. Stevens* is one of the regular company members at Actors’ Summit.
This past season he appeared in *The Ladies Man*, *Romantic Fools*, *A
Christmas Carol* and *A Murder, A Mystery & A Marriage.  *Keith holds an MFA
in Acting and is a lifetime member of the Actors Studio.

Performances are given Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 8:00 PM and Sundays
at 2:00 PM at the theater, located at Greystone Hall, 103 South High Street,
6th Floor, Akron, Ohio.

*All tickets opening weekend (June 16 – 19) are $15*.



Regular performance tickets are $30 on Fridays & Saturdays, $27 on Thursdays
& Sundays, with seniors receiving a $3 discount at regular Thursday and
Sunday performances.  All full time students with ID are $7 at all
performances.  Additional discounts are available to groups of ten or more.
