Lakeside Summer Stage is having auditions for "Godspell" Saturday, June 18th from 2:00 to 5:00 in the Upper Room on Second St. in Lakeside, Ohio.  Shows will take place July 26th and 28th.  We are auditioning high school teenagers and adults for the roles of Jesus, John the Baptist/Judas, Jeffrey, Lamar, Herb, Joanne, Peggy, Sonia, and Gilmer.

Rehearsal schedule for this fun and energetic show will be Sun. through Thurs. evenings.  

To audition please prepare a monologue and 16 bars of a song.  Bring a resume and head shot if you have one.  Dress comfortably and be ready to move and interact with others.  It would be extremely helpful if you are familiar with the story line.  This popular musical of the 70's has many reviews on the internet which may help you.

Lakeside is a gated community on Lake Erie so follow these procedures to auditions:  Enter Lakeside's South Gate off Route 163.  Park in the
south lot.  Walk to the Welcome Center.  Receive an audition pass good for 3 hours time and free parking.  Take a free shuttle to the Upper Room on Second St.  Take shuttle back to South lot after your audition.
