Solon Center for the Arts has an opening for a Part Time Art Instructor.



Qualified Applicants must have completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art or
have earned an Art Education degree from an accredited institution. Graduate
experience is a plus. Interested applicants must have at least one year of
teaching experience.  Responsibilities include lesson creation, planning,
preparation and instruction that is both technical and Art History based for
preschool through seniors. This position involves daytime and evening hours
starting in the summer of 2011. Hourly rate is based upon previous teaching
experience and begins at $22.00 per hour.



Candidates for the art instructor position will work closely with the Art
Department Coordinator and will be able to work with students of all ages
and skill levels. Applicants must be professional and display leadership
qualities in a classroom setting. Candidates must also possess excellent
problem solving, organizational and interpersonal communication skills and
be able to work in a team environment.
