Mercury Summer Stock kicks off its second season at the Cleveland Play House with the hilarious family musical, Doctor Dolittle, June 17–July 2, 2011. All of the characters we've come to love through the stories of Hugh Lofting and the magical movie musical are given new life in this stage version, starring Mercury Summer Stock Artistic Director Pierre-Jacques Brault as everyone’s favorite veterinarian. This classic tale of loyalty and kindness to animals crawls, trots and flies onto the Brooks Theatre stage this summer in Mercury Summer Stock’s wild and wacky world of Doctor Dolittle.The Leslie Bricusse tuner is filled with familiar hits including: My Friend the Doctor, After Today, and the show’s anthem, Talk to the Animals.
