Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory presents three productions in July
and August as part of the FPAC summer theater training program led by Fred
Sternfeld.  All shows are at the Mayfield Village Civic Center, 6622 Wilson
Mills Road (corner of Rt. 91 and Wilson Mills) in Mayfield Village. Artistic
Director Fred Sternfeld comments that “…over 100 of our students are
involved in the three productions. Many FPAC students go on to prestigious
college programs and professional careers and it is the privilege of the
FPAC staff to help them on their way by providing professional training and
performance opportunities.”

*, directed by Fred Sternfeld,* *runs July 7 - 17*, *Thursdays, Fridays and
Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm. *Les Miserables* is the third
longest running musical in Broadway history! This epic story recounts the
struggle against adversity in 19th century France and features a cast of
fifty young people.

* The Prime of Miss Jean

**, *directed by Bernadette Clemens, runs July 28 – 31,* *Thursdays, Fridays
and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm. * *This show exposes the
controversial influence of an eccentric teacher in a private Scottish school
during the 1930s. The play follows four students whose lives are forever
changed by their teacher.

*Big, The Musical

Carol Pribble,
 runs August 11 – 21, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and
Sundays at 2:00 pm.  This musical production is based on the movie which
starred Tom Hanks and stays completely true to the story. At a carnival,
young Josh Baskin wishes he was big - only to awake the next morning and
discover he is!  The more he experiences being an adult, the more Josh longs
for the simple joys of childhood*.  Big, The Musical *is appropriate for all
ages...a fun family event.

Tickets for all shows are Adults $13, Seniors $11 and Students and children
