Apparently being legitimate and respected doesn't matter when it comes to trying to get something for nothing and taking advantage of the local "talent pool". WVIZand Ideastream are right there with the rest of the bottom-feeders in this market.
 
 Pathetic and hypocritical since these same organizations constantly have their corporate hands out, grasping for every dollar they can get from the local market while simultaneously disrespecting the local market.

This legitimate and highly respected organization cannot see it's way to paying ANYTHING  for it's actors?
Come on! What other profession would ever allow this?

Hello –
 
We are producing an instructional video series that will explain eight basic science concepts to teachers, students and the general viewing public.
 
The setting for the eight short videos will be a household, and we are looking for two or three people to serve as a family. There are no lines to learn. You will only need to be able to take direction. We need two adults to serve as parents in the videos, approximately aged 30 to 45. We could also use a child, boy or girl, age approximately 7 to 12. A ready-made family would be great – but we would also love to hear from any adults who would like to help us out, and we will match up a family.
 
This would be an unpaid job. The taping will take place at a home in Willoughby . Taping dates are full days on Wednesday, July 6, Thursday, July 7 and/or Monday, July 11. It will probably only take one day of taping – two tops!
