Notes: Although the audition times are open we strongly urge you to set an 
appointment.  On the audition day, actors will sign in and be seen in the order 
of the sign-in-sheet.  All appointments will have priority.  Walk-ins will be 
seen in between appointments.
 
To set your appointment, please make your requested time and day in the first 
line of your email.  It is not your audition time until we send you a 
confirmation.  Please be patient on the day of the audition.  Send audition time

will be available at the audition.

              *It is the studio above the pub.  The door is in the front by the 
street Entrance
                to the pub.  When you enter, there is a staircase that goes up 
and the studio is
                the only door on the right.   
Shutteris a psychological thriller in which the lives of a photographer and his 
clients intertwine, resulting in passion, obsession, betrayal and murder.  The 
first season of the series consists of eight episodes.

MAIN CHARACTERS
 
Sam – Age 31 – is uniquely attractive, artsy, with an edge.  Sam is a man of 
thought and few words.  A photographer by trade yet his passion is not to 
capture the great shot but to capture the great “Human.” 

 
Danica – Age 26 - a natural beauty that has no idea how gorgeous she is.  There 
is sweetness in everything she does that makes her so sexy.  She views the world 
through rose colored glasses.
 
Brittany – Age 25 - a social butterfly wannabe.  She attempts the latest; the 
latest style, and the latest in “thing,” whatever she can to express herself.  

 
SUPPORTING CHARACTERS
 
Donald – Age 44 - The guy who is trying to be everything.  In high school, 
pushed by his father, he was the football star, Prom King and Student Council 
President.  Now a charismatic executive and head of his own household, he steps 
into his father’s shoes.
 
Vince – Age 60ish - A man of passion and love, a real romantic.  As a boy, Vince 
was the dreamer.  His ideas were big.  Everyone knew he’d be someone some day 
with that sparkle in his eye.  But now Vince is old and retired and life sang a 
different tune for him. 

 
Christopher – Age early 30's - A young attorney who wants everyone to know how 
valuable he and his time are.  All day he stomps around squashing everyone 
around him.  Obsessed with time he has numerous designer watches, but it’s the 
lonely tick of his metronome the keeps him company while he drinks himself to 
sleep every night.
 
Grace – Age 40's - Is a large woman.  Everything is big in her life.  She drives 
a custom Suburban.  She lives in a big house.  She is a big girl and always 
was.  As a child she was taunted with the nick name Rolly Polly, but now 
confident in her size, she is a successful real estate agent, coaches little 
league and is active in the neighborhood.
 
Amy – Age 22 - a fun-loving but forgetful party girl.  She is a blast to hang 
out with.  She will go anywhere, do anything and get everybody around to party 
with her.  She is the cute girl dancing on the table, and she is the funny one 
that all the guys follow around.
 
SECONDARY SUPPORTING CHARACTERS
 
Jennifer – Age 42 - Donald's Wife –The perfect loving trophy wife, an enabler 
that feeds Donald’s narcissistic behavior.
 
Margaret – Sam’s Mother, Age 35 and 50 (Prefer the same woman play her at both 
ages)–a naturally appealing woman.  She is wise and gentle.  However, in her own 
life, bad decisions are plentiful.
 
Sam Sr. – Age 60 - Sam’s Father –a dominating man who believes anything soft is 
a sign of weakness.  He masks his emotions, squashing the expressive passion of 
Sam's mother.
 
Jill – Age 22 - Amy’s Friend –the more sensible one of the trio, typically more 
cautious.
 
Lisa – Age 22 - Amy’s Friend –the smart-a$$ sassy one.
 
Detective – Age: Anything reasonable - A small town detective who doesn’t 
usually deal with anything to serious.  A product of generations of big city law 
enforcement yet this detective ran away for a simpler life.
 
Nurse Nancy – Age: Anything Reasonable - A caring nurse who was the result of a 
teenage pregnancy.   As her own mother partied and dealt with depression Nurse 
Nancy became closer to her sickly but loving grandma.
  
Old Lady Bennit –  Age 70 - A spirited old woman who doesn’t let her wheel chair 
stop her from loving and finally enjoying life. Widowed and now in a care 
facility the Lady has a reputation as no “Lady” at all.

Just a final note for now: Significant efforts are underway to maximize 
exposure, prestige and budget possibilities for the series.  We will keep you 
posted.  We are trying!
