EVENT: Final 2 Days to See Dover Players Family Comedy - Two Pails of Water

The Dover Players is celebrating the summer season with an entertaining
Dutch comedy, Two Pails of Water written by Aad Greidanus and directed by
Jim Volkert. Bring the family and join us for an enjoyable slapstick comedy
appropriate for children over 5 years old and adults.

Definitions:

Bubble and Squeak: Beef and leftover vegetables fried together. It is so
called from the sound it makes (bubbling up and squeaking) during the
cooking process.

Last: Foot-shaped forms used by shoemakers to shape shoes as they are being
made.

Two Pails of Water

Bring the family*, the junk man might have something for you!

(*Recommended for children over 5 years old and adults.)

Synopsis: Two Pails of Water takes place in the village square. Mr.
Goldpurse wants to marry Simplina, the constable's daughter. Dophilius, the
shoemaker wants to marry Sandra, the other daughter. But Simplina loves
Dophilius and Sandra loves Mr. Goldpurse. No matter, the lazy constable
will not let his daughters marry because they do all his work. Enter Hoddel
de Boddel, the rag and junk man. He makes everything right through a series
of hilarious pranks the whole family, from kids to grandparents will enjoy.
Is there a lesson to be learned here or is it all just for fun? You decide.
