[NEohioPAL] With respect to my ad seeking a house-sharing situation...

Hi,

The last couple of weekends, I posted my search for a home-sharing or roommate situation. I appreciate the responses and hope more are on their way (because nothing has really panned out yet). I can't include my ad here because of NEO-PAL's policy of reposting an ad only once per week. It's in the archives, though, and unless something comes through in the next few days, I'll probably repost it this weekend.

However, I'd appreciate it if people respond only when they have a room they intended to rent that's ready to go and awaiting a move-in in the very specific foreseeable future.

My anxiety level is through the roof. I'm racing against the clock to move with nowhere to go.

I don't want anyone contacting me by e'mail if they're not going engage in a follow-up call, schedule a viewing appointment and keep it. Likewise, please don't make a proposition that you hope I'll say "no" to, then backpedal when I want to move forward with it. I'm also not looking to displace anyone, as tempting as it might be to hollow out a room and invite me to rent it because no one couldn't use a little cash.

I appreciate NEO-PAL allowing my post to run, considering it's not 100% within the parameters of the site's mission. Fred Sternfeld and his helpers apparently let a lot slide through because people need help with all manner of things in this harsh economy. I understand people who respond to my post start out meaning well. However, enticing me, then pulling the rug out from under me isn't helping me any.

Otherwise, if you have a room to let in your home or want a roommate for a period I hope wouldn't exceed a year and I could have occasional use of the kitchen and laundry facilities for an all-inclusive $400.00 (preferably less) per month, and it's in a neighborhood where I won't be stranded without a car, please contact me. Referrals are also helpful.

Thanks,

Michael A. Miller
