      Auditions for /The 39 Steps/

Adapted by Patrick Barlow from the 1915 novel by John Buchan and the 
1935 film by Alfred Hitchcock, this comedic adaptation of the spy story 
uses just a handful of actors with lightning-fast costume changes to 
play heroes, villains, men, women, children, and even the occasional 
inanimate object. The Broadway production was the longest running play 
of the 2000s decade.

    *Details:*

  * 1-3 women: any age/ethnicity1-4 men: any age ethnicity. These actors
    will portray a cast of over 50 characters! We are looking for actors
    with strong comedic timing and a sense of fun!
  * Auditions will consist of readings from the script. No preparation
    is required.
  * Auditions and performances to be held at the CVLT Main Building, 40
    River Street, Chagrin Falls.
