Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory presents *big, the musical**,* directed
by Carol Pribble,  running August 11 – 21, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays
at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm.  This musical production is based on the
movie which starred Tom Hanks and stays completely true to the story. At a
carnival, young Josh Baskin wishes he was big - only to awake the next
morning and discover he is!  The more he experiences being an adult, the
more Josh longs for the simple joys of childhood*.  Big, The Musical *is
appropriate for all ages...a fun family event.

"big, the musical" continues FPAC's summer season, which also included Les
Miserables: School Edition and The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. Artistic
Director Fred Sternfeld comments that “…over 100 of our students are
involved in the three productions. Many FPAC students go on to prestigious
college programs and professional careers and it is the privilege of the
FPAC staff to help them on their way by providing professional training and
performance opportunities.”

"big, the musical" is directed by Carol Pribble, music direction by John
Krol, choreography by Bebe Weinberg Katz. It has a cast of almost 40 FPAC
students, and AEA guest artist David Robeano as toy store owner MacMillan.
In the cast are Jessica Brown, Sean Cahill, Allison Factor, Drew Factor,
Aubrey Fink, Andrea Friedberg, Hoyt Gardner, Sean Grandillo, Adam Gurary,
Josh Hall, Adam Hass-Hill, Jessica Hirsh, Lauren Hobbs, Dan Hoy, Lizzie Hoy,
Tia Karaplis, Matthew McAllister, Ethan Nario-Redmond, Cameron Nelson,
Courtney Nelson, Ethan Newburger, Maggie Perry, Jessie Pollak, Austin Riley,
David Robeano, Annie Schiferl, Anna Sheridan, Zoe Simon, CorLesia Smith,
Maddie Small, Tom Sweeney, Blythe Tokar, Ryan Vincent, Emily Wirthwein.


Tickets are Adults $13, Seniors $11 and Students and children are $9 and all

"big, the musical" is presented at the Mayfield Village Civic Center, 6622
Wilson Mills Road (corner of Rt. 91 and Wilson Mills) in Mayfield Village.
