North Coast Casting will be holding a casting call for a Rhode Island-based
production company's two newest films now in production on the east and west
coast. The auditions will be open call on Sunday, August 7th, from 2 to 5pm.
North Coast Casting is located at 5009 Storer Ave., Cleveland, OH 44102.
Parking is in the lots directly across the street and on corner. 
 
The two films are currently listed in IMDb though the cast incomplete. All
the roles are principal with deferred pay, per diem, and travel expenses
paid. They will also get IMDb credit, copy of film and tickets to NYC
premiere. 
 
 
CASTING FOR "A TIGER IN THE DARK: DECADENCE" 
 
ALEXA VALE – between the ages of 27-32, 5'5”-5'7”, Brown hair, brown eyes,
average build. 
Alexa [Vale] is Drew's fiancee. She leads a normal life; she is naïve and
fears that she will never be able to live happily. She questions whether or
not Drew loves her. Out of fear she lashes out and betrays Drew; stealing
money and lying. 
*This is not an athletic role but the acting is intense and very emotional. 
 
 
DARCI EVANS - Between 27-32, black hair, brown eyes, 5'"4" - 5'6", petite
build. 
She is the sister of Drew Evans. She is conflicted and unsure of how to
handle her brothers emotional distress. She eventually becomes an outlet for
Drew to confide. She helps him deal with emotional distress and the sudden
death of his closest friend, Howie. 
 
 
CASTING FOR "A VAGABOND KNIGHTS TALE" 
 
Lady Elana: between ages of 26-30, Blonde Hair, Blue eyes, 5”5”-5”7”,
childlike features, petite build, mature beyond her years. 
Lady Elana is a deity worshiped by the Cear Sidi. She is in a loving
relationship eons old with Gideon. She is the mother of Lars; a demi-god.
She is strong willed and intelligent.

Rose: between the ages of 25-30, brown hair, brown eyes, petite build, soft
spoken. 
Rose is the sister of Lars. She is naïve and stubborn. She is destined to
save the world during dark times.

for a third and separate project than the two listed before. This audition
will be held from 5 to 7pm at NCC. 
 
 
Casting for Short Film "Bruce & Marty" 
 
"Bruce & Marty" is a dark, surrealist comedy taking place in a totalitarian
(yet wholly incompetent) society of CONTROL. Two detectives are hired by an
entity called CONTROL. CONTROL controls everything, yet has absolutely no
idea what is going on. A massive, all-seeing, and all-powerful computer that
directly controls nearly all aspects of society and is utterly incompetent.
Crushed under its own magnificence and bureaucracy, the computer spits out a
request: the machine wants “It.” Something is missing. However, no one quite

Knows what “It” is, described cryptically as “a particular person, animal,
or object of undetermined size, shape, and/or weight of great interest,
importance, value and/or impact on persons, animals, or objects unknown.

Bruce 
Description: male, 30-40's, slightly heavyset 
Personality: Calm, confident, logical without being robotic. He looks at
things from a rational yet sensible way. Extremely well spoken and 
Intelligent. Often mistaken for a snob, he's really just particular about
things. Someone you would imagine being the world's best librarian. 
 
 
Marty 
Description: male, late 20's - 30's, thin 
Personality: Emotional, passionate, funny. Lights up a room without being an
obnoxious attention seeker. Looks at things from a humanistic, organic,
creative way. Challenges authority when confronted with contradictory or
hypocritical ideas. Wicked smart as well. 
 
 
Clerk 
Description: male, any age/build 
Personality: A sad, lonely underling stuck in the gears of a monolithic
organization he can't possibly comprehend. Intensely tragic, like a lost
puppy with three legs. 
 
 
Manager 
Description: male, 40's, any build 
Personality: Stoic corporate man to the core. Audience should be uncertain
if he is an actual person or programmed industrial robot. Never blinks. 
 
 
Woman 
Description: female, 20's-30's, any build 
Personality: An explorer, a wanderer. Someone who has a lot of secrets but
tells them to the right person. Possibly the love of someone's life,
possibly not. An unknown quantity. 
 
 
Man 
Description: male, 30's-40's, thin 
Personality: A strange man outside of the system. An enigma, an overseer.
Has no lines, but going for striking, unique appearance to create a sense of
unease, tension, possibly dread. 
 
 
Control (Voice) 
Description: male voice, deep yet smooth. 
Personality: A calm yet infuriating voice. Totalitarian, incompetent, but utterly confident. Impossible to see own contradictions. Like if you were stuck on the phone with the IRS for eternity, and you didn't know why you had to call them. If Franz Kafka wrote automated phone messages.
