[NEohioPAL] Cleveland Public Theatre is excited to announce their 2011-2012 Season!

Cleveland Public Theatre is the place for original, adventurous and relevant
works of performance and their 2011 – 2012 Season is proof of just that.



The season includes seven world premiere productions, five by Northeast Ohio
artists. Six of the plays are devised theatre, originating from
unconventional creative processes.  CPT also continues its commitment to
artist development with groundbreaking programs: Big [Box], seven weeks of
world premiere workshop productions by Northeast Ohio artists; Springboard,
a new series for staged readings and director development; the inaugural
Leap/Conceive project for works-in-progress; and DanceWorks a premiere
showcase for local companies and choreographers.

*Leap/Conceive*

A new development series featuring several short selections from an array of
works-in-progress.

*Y-Haven Theatre Project*
**CPT artists and the residents of Y-Haven collaborate to create an original
play based on experiences of homelessness, addiction and the power to
change.

*Conni's Avant Garde Restaurant: Feast of Miracles*

A unique theatrical culinary event that mixes the ingredients of fine food,
wine and ensemble theatre together with cabaret, improv comedy and a five
course meal.

December 1 - December 18



*Big [BOX] '12*

Over seven weeks, Big [BOX] includes more than ten world premiere workshop
productions.

January 5 - February 18



*At-TEN-tion Span*

The 2012 At-TEN-tion Span will be made up entirely of *devised
works*created by local artists.
