[NEohioPAL] The North Canton Playhouse holding auditions

[North Canton Playhouse]

 The North Canton Playhouse will be holding
 auditions for
 our Holiday One-Acts "The Night They Stole Halloween" and "The Turkey 
Who Knew Too Much"  AND  "TheNutcracker_The Play"  on Sunday, August 28th, at 6:00 pm at the NCP 
Mainstage.  For the holiday one-acts...  The roles will be filled mostly by adults and teens age 14 
and older; however, there are also roles for 2 girls and 2 boys between 
the ages of 7-13 yr.
    


AUDITION
REQUIREMENTS: No preparation needed as there will be cold readings from the
script. However, a sense of humor is required as these roles range from
Zombies, Mummies, and Vampires to crazy Detectives, a Queen, an Eccentric Aunt,
Secret Service Agents and a host of other hilarious characters!   

 MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR PERFORMANCES OCTOBER 20-30 (Thursdays thru Sundays),
2011.



   "The 
Nutcracker - The Play"    This show will be  on the Mainstage!  this year!!  
 There are
 adult roles and also kids roles - so really anywhere from age 7 on up! 
 No preparation needed as there will be cold readings from the script. 

MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR PERFORMANCES DECEMBER 1-11 (Thursdays thru Sundays),
2011.

What is this?? It is YOUR CHANCE to
“Take the Stage!” and showcase your talent! 
Do you sing, dance, juggle, act, play an instrument, do something weird??
Then bring it on! Any age! By yourself or in a group, we want to see your act!

 

Now, what are the rules??

 

It’s simple! You must present your
talent at the North Canton Playhouse Mainstage on Wednesday, August 31 at 7:00
pm.  Then, you will be notified as to
whether your act has been chosen to perform in our talent showcase on Saturday,
September 24 at 8:00 pm and Sunday, September 25 at 2:30 pm. (Dress
rehearsal on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 7:00 pm).

 

Also, ALL acts must be in good taste!
Nothing offensive!
