*Part Time Violin and Viola Instructor*



Solon Center for the Arts is accepting applications for a Part Time Violin
and Viola Instructor.



Qualified Applicants must have completed a Bachelors degree in Strings
Performance, Strings Pedagogy, Suzuki Strings or related degree with a
Violin/Viola concentration from an accredited institution. Masters
experience a plus. Interested applicants must have at least one year of
teaching experience. This position involves possible daytime and evening
hours and will begin in July 2011. The hourly rate is based upon experience
and qualifications.



Candidates for the Violin/Viola instructor position will work closely with
the Music Department Coordinator and must be able to work with students of
all ages and skill levels. Applicants must be professional and display
leadership qualities in a classroom setting. Excellent problem solving
skills, time management, organizational skills and interpersonal
communications are a must. Applicants must be able to work in a team
environment.
