Position Title: Event Technician, Part-time Seasonal
Division: Marketing and Communications

Position Summary:
This part-time seasonal position is responsible for independently and correctly 
setting up, operating, tearing down, and troubleshooting various types of 
audio-visual equipment and providing technical support to the Museum’s lecture 
series and events.  

Duties:
·      Perform basic maintenance on a/v equipment.
·      Staff and support Museum sponsored events and rentals on site.
·      Work variable schedule as required by scheduled events with appropriate 
dress code.
·      Available to work nights and weekends.
·      Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical people 
professionally.
·      Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:            
    * Expertise with LCD projectors, laptop computers & other audio/visual 
equipment required.
    * Experience with sound and lighting necessary.
    * The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical 
personnel. 

    * The ability to be effective while handling multiple projects and 
requests.
    * Excellent organization and problem solving      skills. 
    * Commitment to customer service. 
    * Prior work experience in theatre or      multimedia/audio visual events.
