FIVE FLIGHTS, A SOARING AND TOUCHING COMEDY OPENS TOMORROW
AT CONVERGENCE-CONTINUUM.

convergence-continuum, continues its 2011 Season at the Liminis theatre
with the Midwest premiere of Five Flights by Adam Bock, directed by
convergence-continuum’s Artistic Director, Clyde Simon and featuring
actors Robert Branch, Jaclyn Cifranic, Clint Elston, Elaine Feagler, Lauri
Hammer and Zac Hudak.

Siblings Ed and Adele inherit an enormous aviary that their late father
built for his deceased wife, whose soul, he believed, had transformed into
the body of a wren. The grown children are faced with the dilemma of what
to do with the crumbling structure – sister-in-law Jane wants to build
tidy new houses; friend Olivia wants to build The Church of the Fifth Day
honoring birds; Ed wants to let the building fall to the ground. Mixed
into all this are issues of religious conviction, fear of commitment, the
way Russian ballet resembles a hockey game, and the courtship of Ed by
Tom, a gay professional hockey player.

Warning: may contain brief exposure to strobe effects, male nudity, and
bird plumage.

Five Flights opens this Friday, August 19 and runs at 8 p.m. Thursdays,
Fridays and Saturdays through September 10 at the Liminis, 2438 Scranton
Rd., Cleveland, OH 44113 in the historic Tremont neighborhood. Tickets
are $15 general admission, $12 for seniors (65+) and $10 for students.
