Department of Education Outreach:

Seeking Instructors and Actors for paid contracted positions for the upcoming 2011-2012 Season

 

 

Outreach Program Actors/Instructors:

Seeking one Male Actor between the ages of 23-35 to take part in our NEW education outreach performances for our Very Young Audiences.  Applicants must have a flexible schedule and be available during the school day for performances and enrichment classes.  This is a paid position and can be combined with our other contracted teaching opportunities.

 

Pay Rate: $40 per performance/$30 per teaching hour

 

Instructors:

Instructors are needed to teach for Weathervane Playhouse in the Akron After School Program The classes focus on teaching the students a basic understanding of and respect for Theatre and the performing arts.

Curriculum & training provided!

Classes run from October 17th until December 8th.

HOURS are 4 - 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday & Thursdays and/or 3 - 5 p.m. Tuesdays (Any combination of days can be selected)

Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour.
