OPEN CALL AUDITIONS

 

for

 

Three Tall Women

Drama by Edward Albee

 

Sunday, September 18 and Monday September 19

Please arrive at 6 p.m. either day

 

"Playing Age" of characters:

One woman age 26

One woman age 52

One woman age 90

One man age 23

 

Preparation:

There are several monologues in the play. Please choose one monologue from the script and be prepared to read it for  your audition.

It does NOT need to be memorized.

 

Director: Bill Morgan

Bill Morgan has been directing for more than 20 years and is the owner/producer of SignStage on Tour, a nationally touring deaf theatre company that performs for children all across the United States. He is the Artistic Manager for the Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center, where he creates and implements theatre assembly programs and residencies for deaf and hearing elementary-aged school children. This past July, he directed "Crossing the Line," one of the eight plays featured in the 8x10 TheatreFest (which was Weathervane Playhouse's first annual festival of 10-minute plays). His prior Weathervane Playhouse directing credits include "The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society's Production of 'A Christmas Carol' " (1997).

 

 

Rehearsals begin Sunday, September 25 at 7 p.m.

Run Dates: October 27 - November 12, 2011

Thursdays - Sundays

Thursdays at 7:30 p.m.

Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.

Sundays at 2:30 (no show Nov. 13)
