[NEohioPAL] The Tell-Tale Heart nominated for awards at the Indie Gathering

"The Tell-Tale Heart" has been nominated for Best Actor in an Ohio Film (Stephen Brockway) and Best Director of an Ohio Film (Jeff Yanik) at the 15th Annual Indie Gathering in Westlake , Ohio .  The film will also be receiving the 2nd Place Award in the Short Films - Suspense / Thriller category at the festival. 

  
"The Tell-Tale Heart" will be screening at the Indie Gathering at 2:05pm on Sunday August 28th in screening room B.  The 15th Annual Indie Gathering will be held at the Holiday Inn Westlake. In addition to the Indie Gathering, the film will also soon be screening at the Central Florida Film Festival in Ocoee, Florida (near Orlando ) on Sept. 3rd and at the Independents' Film Festival in Tampa, Florida in December. 
  
"The Tell-Tale Heart" was directed by Jeff Yanik from a screenplay by Kristy Rinas, Jonathan Orosz, and Jeff Yanik.  It is based on the short story by Edgar Allan Poe.  The film stars Stephen Brockway, Jonathan Orosz, Michael Regnier, Kyle Znamenak, Don Mannarino, and Dale Kennedy.  The film was produced by Cynthia Graham, Jonathan Orosz, Andy Schofield, and Jeff Yanik.  
 
"The Tell-Tale Heart" was filmed in Cleveland and Shaker Heights in the fall of 2009 with an Ohio cast and crew.  The film features music by Jonathon Cox and cinematography by Peter Sampson. 
  
"The Tell-Tale Heart" has so far screened at film festivals in Ohio , New Mexico , and Texas .  The film won Best Feature and Best Actor (Stephen Brockway) at the Truth or Consequences Halloween & Day of the Dead Film Festival in Truth or Consequences, NM last October.  The film also won a 2011 Bronze Telly Award in the Film/Video - Low Budget Category.
