The Illusion Factory is proud to announce TWO locations for their Fall Theater School classes!


We are holding classes at both the Northwest Family Recreation Center, 1730 Shatto Ave., Akron, OH 44313 on Saturday mornings and at the Akron Art Museum on Saturday afternoons.

* Classes run on Saturdays, October 1st-November 19th (8 weeks)
* $5 discount for second class enrollmentat the Northwest Center
* $5 discount at the Akron Art Museum for museum members
* Instructors are professional actors from The Illusion Factory with teaching experience
* Course follows Ohio's Academic Content Standards
* November 19th demo for family and friends!


Classes offered at the Northwest Family Recreation Center are:

Tot Time Theater
Age 2-4 9:30-10AM $45

Parents are invited to join their toddler in a theater experience to explore their imagination through creative play, stories, and movement. 


Act I: Theater Games
Age 7-12 10-11AM $75 

Theater games will be used to teach about theater, acting, and creating stories.


Sing!
Age 11 & up 10-11AM $85

Here's your chance to belt out the songs from "Glee" and dance like one of the characters.


Telling Tales
Age 5-7 11-12NOON $75

Develop imagination and learn basic acting skills while inventing your own stories based on Tall Tales and folklore.
Act II:Scenework and Audition Prep
Age 8 & up 11-12NOON $75

Perform scenes and learn how to select, prepare for, and deliver monologues for an audition. 


Classes offered at the Akron Art Museum are:

Act I: Theater Games
Age 7-12 1-2PM $75

Theater games will be used to teach about theater, acting, and creating stories.

Age 5-7 2-3PM $75

Develop imagination and learn basic acting skills while inventing your own stories based on Tall Tales and folklore.
