Brand new Cleveland Sketch Group TubShark has announced its inaugural show dates, live at Cleveland Heights Big Dog Theater, September 9th-10th, 2011.  Tickets are $8 and can be reserved by phone or online from Big Dog Theater.  Box office opens at 8pm...Show 9pm.  The show will feature mixed media, blending sketch, audience interaction, stand-up, film/video, and music. 
 
Initiated in April of 2011 by nationally touring stand-up comedian Jesse Alison, TubShark brings together the most talented underground comedians in northeast Ohio. Incorporating a wide range of influences, TubShark combines comedy in the vein of Kids in the Hall, Mr. Show, & Second City, with variety the likes of Hee-Haw and The Muppet Show, a DIY aesthetic from punk, and the craft movement, while offering a modern twist, incorporating digital media. They have written, and perform original work, highlighting the varied skill of this comedy powerhouse, into an intensely funny live experience. Currently comprised of Jesse Alison, James Catullo, Tim Cornett, Marissa DeSantis, Jessica Fleming, Liz Huff, & Nick Staron, TubShark melds their array of talents into sketch-theater never before witnessed. 
 
Their Combined credits include, HBO, The Onion, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, Second City, Del Close Marathon NYC, Hilarities, The Improv, The World Famous Comedy Store, as well as Clubs and Colleges around the Country.
