Matthew James Murphy, bornand raised in Cleveland Ohio, started his own company, MJM Music , in 2004. MJM Music is a company that provides in homeguitar and piano lessons to students of all ages. Matthew performed in theBroadway show “RENT” on Broadway from 1998-2003,  made numerous appearances on Late night with Conan o Brienand has had his original songs placed on various TV shows/films. Matthew wrotethe Graduation song “Hold Your Dream” for the MGM remake of the film “FAME”.  MJM Music  currenlyhas 52 students a week and is looking for an additional teacher to help growthe business throughout the greater Cleveland area.
 
 
Job Description:
 
MJM Music is currentlylooking for a  young, energetic,music teacher to teach beginning to intermediate piano lessons to stdudents ofall ages. Lessons are private, given at the students residence. Must bepassionate about music and are good with kids. Must have good communicationskills, with the ability to adapt to different styles of teaching. Half of thelesson, students will learn the basics, while the other half is dedicated toapplying the basics to the popular songs the students want to learn. Allapplicants are subject to a background check, as entering the home of a studenthas to come with the upmost trust. Must be willing to travel to the east side.West side lessons may soon be an option. $40 an hour, $20 for a half hour.  MJM Music will provide the appropriatemusic and will set up all lessons/communication with the student.
