Modeling/Acting Instructor 

 

Barbizon of Akron, the oldest and largest modeling training center for over
75 years, is currently seeking a Part-Time Instructor for their Female and
Male Programs.

Responsibilities include:

.         Introducing students to the following concepts/skills:

o   Self Confidence and Personality Development 

o   Career Savvy/Interviewing Skills

o   Voice/Diction 

o   Runway/Poise and Posture

o   Skincare/Make-up and Hair Techniques

o   Nutrition/Diet and Exercise

o   On-Camera Skills

o   Intro to Acting

o   Agency Savvy - Local/National 

.         Photoshoot preparation and assistance

.         Motivating and instilling values, self-worth and overall creating
a positive attitude within oneself

.         Developing the students that have the potential to pursue the
local, national and international market

 

We're looking for an individual who: 

.         Has worked in the Model/Talent Industry

.         Has a desire to work with individuals of all ages and help them to
develop  and achieve their goals

.         Has a teaching background

.         Is upbeat, enthusiastic, and professional 

.         Has a genuine passion for the industry

.         Is organized and has great communication skills

 

Hours include evenings and Saturdays.
