Wilhelm Dance is excited to offer another Master Class Series with the legendary William B. Wingfield and his partner Monique C. Borromeo. Wilhelm Dance is known for bringing in the latest talent from across the country; especially since the expansion of their Rocky River location in 2005 to accommodate large classes. They most recently added an Avon studio location as well. This past summer they welcomed for the 7th year, Pointe of Departure, a collaboration between Ballet San Jose’s Prima Ballerina, Karen Gabay & premier danseur, Raymond Rodriguez. They also hosted Jessica King’s “IV Real Intens-IV-e” featuring Jessica King, “T’witch” Boss, and Will Wingfield, all Top 10 finalists for “So You Think You Can Dance” (Season IV). Last year they brought up “B-girl” and Hip-Hop dance theater icon, Teena Marie Custer, in addition to the Tony Award nominated Director/Choreographer, Daniel Knecthges, whose latest New York production, “Lysistrata Jones” will debut on Broadway in November, 2011.

Owner, Lisa Wilhelm Celeste, could hardly believe it when she received the message that Will was looking to book classes at the studio. Lisa said, "Will brings such a wide breath of experience as a TV star from ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ and as a Broadway veteran after his work on ‘In The Heights’. We are so lucky to have him and Mo here to share their big city experience.”

William and Mo both write, "Teaching is one of the main highlights of our job because there is nothing that compares to being able to give back. We are aware of how important this next generation is, and we want to give them all the tools & more that are necessary for success in a constantly evolving industry. Classes are very hands on, and just as much about a verbal communication as it is about a physical dance combination. Students will have the opportunity to work with 2 professional Artist's that are known in both the Concert & Commercial worlds giving them insight, a versatile style fusion, and actual real life information pertaining to both worlds of experience. Our hope is that our class will spark additional ways of thinking, and a more full vocabulary of movement qualities. We stress the idea of dancers becoming Artist's and the journey of what that entails. We will help them understand the many dynamic levels of what it takes to stand out when necessary, whether in Dance or in Life! Classes are Fun, Energetic, promote a balanced level of discipline, and are very, very informative. We thank you for the opportunity of considering us to help continue on the good work that you and your teachers put in on a daily basis."

“The Metafizikel” will provide elite access into the commercial world of dance. Access the minds of the artists who create, paint, and sculpt the dance we see on T.V, the internet, and the big screen.
