AUDITIONS FOR Beck Center's Encore Production of........

JOSEPH
And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

WHEN:  Appointments will be taken immediately for either Sunday, Sept. 25th beginning at 7PM or Tuesday, Sept. 27th  
              beginning at 6PM. Audition slots will be in 5 minute increments. Please sign up for the earliest slot available
              when possible. (Please Note: NO Monday auditions.)

WHERE:  Auditions will take place AT The Beck Center. Check www.beckcenter.org for directions.

PERFORMANCES:  JATATD opens Friday, Dec. 2nd and closes with a New Year's Eve performance on Dec. 31st.
                                  Normal Performance schedule is Fri./Sat. evenings at 7:30PM and Sundays at 2:30PM. There
                                  are a few exceptions to this, including some Saturday double (Aft. and Eve.) performances.

REHEARSALS:  Because a fair amount of cast members return, this promises to be a slightly shorter rehearsal
                           schedule than usual. Rehearsals will begin no sooner than Nov. 1st, and most likely a bit later than that.

ROLES:  As mentioned above, many cast members from last year's production are returning. The roles that are being
               cast for this season include Brothers, Wives, 2 male swings,  and Children's Chorus only. (Note: There are
               no seperate auditions for the Children's Chorus this year. Please sign your child up for THIS set of auditions.)
               Ideally members of the Children's Chorus should be between 8 and 13 years old and not taller than 5'3".

AUDITION PREPARATION: Please prepare one 90 second song of your choice. Musical Theatre and Pop selections
                                              are both acceptable. Dance auditions will take place as part of the Callback process. Bring
                                              sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided.

CALLBACKS:  Callbacks will take place on Saturday, Oct. 1st from 2PM to 5PM. If you can not attend the callback 
                        session, please let us know when you make your appointment.

COMPENSATION:  Casting is non-Equity only for this encore (as the two AEA members are returning). All performers
                                 18 years and over are stipended for their participation.
