Hollywood Mom, Barbara Cameron, Joins ARTS as Talent Scout

Open auditions and meet and greet to be held Saturday, October 1

 

Beachwood, OH (September 27, 2011) – Applause Rising Talent Showcase (ARTS), is proud to welcome Barbara Cameron, mother of well-known Hollywood actors Kirk and Candace Cameron, to its Cleveland-based organization.

 

In her new position, Cameron will be scouting talent for the homegrown organization that assists aspiring talent to meet the industry’s top agents, casting directors, managers, and producers.  Cameron is also the author of “A Full House of Growing Pains – a Hollywood Mother’s Journey.”

 

Cameron and members of ARTS will be holding open auditions on Saturday, October 1 at the Embassy Suites in Beachwood, OH.  Interested individuals must pre-register by calling 800-STAR-102 (800-782-7102).  There is no fee to audition.

 

The ARTS is a well-respected, family-oriented event, offering substantial exposure to top industry professionals and agents from Hollywood, Atlanta, New York City, Miami, Chicago and more.  Scouts will be looking for new talent in the areas of vocal performances, choreographed dance routines, musical theatre arrangements, fashion runway, improvisation, and cold reads.
