[NEohioPAL] Two Local Films Screen @ Film Festival in Marietta, Ohio

“TURNING POINT” and "FLIGHT TO INDIA" ARE OFFICIAL SELECTIONS OF THE COLONY FILM FESTIVAL IN MARIETTA, OHIO
 
 
Two short films shot in Northeast Ohio, “Turning
Point”, a 43 minute family drama and "Flight to India", 35 minute family film, will both screen at The Colony Film Festival in Marietta, Ohio at the Mid Ohio Valley Players Theatre on Opening Night -- Friday, October 14, 2011 at 6:15pm and 7:05pm respectively.  

"Flight to India" will also have a regional big screen premiere on Friday, October 14, 2011 @ 7pm at the Salvation Army Akron Citadel; 190 South Maple
Street; Akron, Ohio (the Akron Citadel features an excellent video projection & sound system).  
 
 "Turning Point" (winner of Best Family Film and nominated for two Ohio Awards for Best Film & Best Director @ the 2011 Indie Gathering Film Festival) tells the story of an orphan who is injured in a hit-and-run and is later befriended and helped in 
his recovery by the driver who believes he is responsible.

The film stars:  Brian
Richeson, Tonee Purnell, Lindsay Bonilla, Joy Borland, Thomas  Ferraro, and Ryan Vincent as
"Danny".  Original Music Score

"Flight to India" is the tale of two siblings and their friends who are whisked away by their eccentric 
babysitter on an imaginative journey to India where they learn the power of stories and the meaning of friendship.

The film features Lindsay Bonilla, Jeremiah Joreski, Ashleigh Nagy, Cameron Danielle Nelson, Trinity Tyler, and Claudia Esposito as "Mom".  Original Music Score by Aryavarta Kumar.  Written by Lindsay Bonilla.   Produced by Lindsay Bonilla and Peter Anthony Fields.  Associate Producer: Quata Zehe-Tucker.  Directed & Edited by Peter Anthony Fields.
