NORTH POINTED STAR TRAVELING THEATRE CO.

North Pointed Star Traveling Theatre Company  is under the 501(c)3 non
profit North Pointed Star
Theatre Outreach, LLC founded by AnnMarie P. Lewis of New York and Sherry
Reed who resides in
Cleveland. The mission is to enhance the quality of life for youth and
adults within the urban and multicultural communities through education and
artistic outreach. Dedicated to provide training and
performance opportunities for local artist. To uphold the empowerment of
all ethnicity and to respect
cultural diversity.

North Pointed Star Traveling Theatre will be an ensemble of dedicated
African American artist with the inclusion of other nationalities who will
provide outreach through workshops and mounted performances of historical
figures and current social and health issues for schools, churches, museums,
libraries, locally and regionally. In addition, we will travel throughout
the areas with a stage reading series of classics and challenging new works
with community members participation and talk back discussions. These plays
will be mounted in the near future. Highlighted work by such playwrights as
August Wilson, Radha Blank, Tarell Alvin McCraney, Katori Hall, Robert O'
Hara, William Shakespeare and local aspiring and emerging writers.

Our stage reading series and educational performances will increase the
opportunities for local directors and minority actors who are union.
