Saturday, November 5…Second Annual “A Nutcracker Suite Gala” to benefit the Cleveland City Dance Company, 6:00pm at the Cleveland Skating Club in Shaker Heights. Hors d’oeuvres, dinner, a silent auction, and performances throughout the evening from “The Nutcracker” by the Cleveland City Dance Company. Tickets start at $75. Call 216-295-2222.

The newly-formed Cleveland City Dance Company (CCDC) is a nonprofit, pre-professional
company that currently resides at the Cleveland City Dance Studio on Shaker Square. Formerly
known as the Cleveland Chamber Ballet, the company has been performing since the mid 90s
and is committed to building a professional resident company in the future. This vibrant and
versatile company of 17 members currently presents two perfomances a year and provides
free outreach performances to local area schools.The Cleveland City Dance Company’s mission
is to establish a ballet company of the highest artistic and technical caliber that serves it’s
communities through performance and artistic education.
