Local Talents Brings 'The Trojan Women' to Life at LCCC

Local actors will bring to life the ancient story of "The Trojan Women"
at Lorain County Community College.

The play will be performed at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, November 3 -
Saturday, November 5 at LCCC's Stocker Arts Center. The production is
directed by Dave Cotton.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $6 for students, staff and seniors.
Tickets can be ordered online at www.stockerartscenter.com, or by
calling the Stocker Arts Center box office at (440) 366-4040 from 12-6
p.m., Monday through Friday. Tickets are also available at the box
office, located in the lobby of the Stocker Arts Center.

"The Trojan Women" is a bleak and agonizing portrait of war's brutality
inspired by a barbaric act of retribution committed on the Isle of Melos
during the war between Athens and Sparta. First produced in 415 BC, the
story remains relevant in today's world.

Lead roles will be played by Melissa Lyle of    Henrietta Twp.; Sara
Rhodes and Erika Lemieux, both of Elyria; Kristie Fabanich and Stephanie
Crofoot, both of Lorain; and Jacob Kestler of Bay Village.
