*CASTING* for WebSeries...

Speaking Roles:
DR. OVARIAN (Caucasian) - A deadpan doctor who is completely humorless and
doesn't understand why his name is interesting to people.
STORE EMPLOYEE (Caucasian male or female) - Confuses multiple black men for
each other.
BLACK MAN 1 - A man whose sole purpose, it seems, is to annoy the main
character.
BLACK MAN 2 - A man who has a loud conversation with Black Man 1.
BLACK MAN 3 - A man confused for one of the principal characters.
RANDOM MAN / WOMAN (Any Ethnicity) - Interacts with a "catchphrase comedian"
MAN (Any Ethnicity) - a rude driver who experiences road rage against the
main character and then has to eat his hat (figuratively).

Non-Speaking Roles
EXTRAS of any age, race and gender over 18.

About the WebSeries:
Series Title: "*THE SHOW*"
"The Show" is about four comedians and their everyday trials in Cleveland,
with a lot of awkward and racially-based humor, written by local comedian
Wesley Harrell. Think "Curb Your Enthusiasm" meets "It's Always Sunny in
Philadelphia", with a little "Louie" for good measure. It is to be shot
within the next two weeks.

The main roles are cast, however we are looking for actors and / or comics
of multiple age ranges for extras AND speaking roles.

This is a legitimate project with many popular locals attached in one way or
another, including comedians Ramon Rivas and Mike Head, and actors Matt
Rosfelder and Peter Lawson Jones.

We will be shooting at various Cleveland locations including restaurants,
coffee shops, and Cleveland State University.

It is not a paid project unfortunately, but I can promise very short days
(usually just a couple of hours) and ease of production.

Series will premiere on various internet outlets in January, including
YouTube, Daily Motion, MetaCafe, Vimeo, and we are also looking into larger
commercial outlets.

The series will consist of 6 preliminary episodes, each 15 minutes or
(usually) less in length. Of course, copies and credit will be provided to
all involved.

*Writer*: Wesley Harrell Crump
Wesley Harrell studied production and received a BFA in communications from
the New York Institute of Technology. He worked in television in many
capacities between 2000 and 2007, mainly on music videos and TV commercials
such as the Carrot-Top lead "1-800-Call-ATT" spots. He also worked on TV
comedies such as "Chappelle's Show" and "Wundershowzen", and children's
shows "Reading Rainbow", and "Between the Lions".

Simone V. Barros graduated the Tisch School of the Arts at New York
University with a BFA in Filmmaking.
She has worked on the comedies "Chappelle's Show" and "Tough Crowd with
Colin Quinn", and children's shows "Between the Lions", and "Reading
Rainbow". She also worked for the soap opera "As the World Turns".
