Two compassionate spinster sisters provide peace to older lonely gentlemen
-- with arsenic-laced wine.  Their theater critic nephew finds himself in
the middle of one of the "horrors" he loathes to review, as his ruthless
murdering brother targets him as the next victim.  Meanwhile, brother Teddy
is digging the Panama Canal, and burying the bodies -- in the cellar!  Add
in a minister's daughter, a drunken plastic surgeon, unsuspecting victims
and bumbling cops, and you've got the recipe for macabre wackiness.
