PARMA - Cuyahoga Community College's (Tri-C(r)) Western Campus theatre
department presents the world premiere production of Jean Seitter
Cummins' Pray for the Missing Girls on November 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12 at 8
p.m. and November 6 and 13 at 2 p.m. The play, which utilizes a cast of
25, will take place in the Western Campus theatre, 11000 Pleasant Valley
Road in Parma. Western Campus faculty member Fred Gloor will direct.
Pray for the Missing Girls is the story of Marion, an award-winning news
reporter trying to find her missing daughter. While working on stories
in Juarez, Mexico and remote Texas, she discovers that since the
beginning of time, far too many innocents have paid the ultimate price
in the name of "commerce" and "civilization." This play deals with
mature/disturbing subject matter.
Jean Seitter Cummins is a playwright, dramaturge and occasional theatre
critic whose reviews have appeared in Cleveland Scene. She served for
many years as literary manager for Dobama Theatre and now directs the
First Mondays play reading series.
