Pianist needed, St. Paul's Church, Ohio City
St. Paul's Church, United Church of Christ seeks a pianist for their Sunday
morning services. Located in Ohio City on Franklin Ave, St. Paul's is a
progressive church with many community ministries including outreach to
homeless adults and youth, afterschool programs and spiritual guidance.
Worship services are at 10:30 on Sunday mornings with a rehearsal around
9:30 as well as occasional special services. Worship is engaging and
diverse at St. Paul's and includes volunteer musicians from the community.
The congregation is open to diverse music and sings everything from hymns
from the New Century Hymnal to Bruce Springsteen tunes to South African
praise songs and appreciates all styles of sacred music.  This is a great,
flexible job for someone who would like to gain experience playing in a
church setting or for someone with a heart for social justice and community
outreach through music. St. Paul's can pay $50 per Sunday morning.
