Two
Step Productions in association with the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall
are proud to announce the Rhythm in the Night Showcase Event! The
Rhythm in the Night Showcase Event will be held at Sarasota's premiere
live performance venue, The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, Presidents'
Day February 20th, 2012 at 7:30 PM.
Rhythm in the
Night, The Irish Dance Spectacular is an epic journey derived from a
tale of good versus evil told through Irish dance. The production was
created in Sarasota by professional Irish dancers Justin Boros and Gregg
Senko, who have toured with hit shows such as Michael Flatley's Lord of
the Dance and other international Irish dance productions.
The
Showcase Event will feature a selection of exciting performances from
Rhythm in the Night, as well as an intimate discussion with the shows
creators and composers and their storied histories in the world of Irish
dance as they prepare for their 2012 international tour.
The
performance and discussion will be filmed in high definition as part of
the Rhythm in the Night touring promotional video. Following the
performance, the audience is invited to the Van Wezel's Grand Foyer for
the Rhythm in the Night Gala. The Gala will feature hors d'oeuvres and
drinks along with the unique opportunity to interact with the
international cast and creators of Rhythm in the Night.
