The World is Coming to an End Two Final Times This Weekend!!!

Come Hear all about it at the Hudson Players Laugh Out Loud, Apocalyptical
Comedy "Early One Evening at the Rainbow Bar & Grille!"

The World is coming to and end.or at least that's the premise in the hit
Hudson Players production of "Early One Evening at the Rainbow Bar & Grille"
a laugh out loud apocalyptical comedy. The popular play centers around
reactions to this news by patrons on a small bar in western Pennsylvania, as
they walk into and out of conversations with the bartender Shep. While some
search for bomb shelters and some search for people to shoot, others all
putting it all on the line in one great high stakes poker game.that is until
God walks into the bar. While not exactly the set up for a joke (although
there are many laughs), God entrance changes things and presents Shep with a
very big decision. Funny, witty and intelligent with a surprisingly upbeat
end, the show has something for everyone (but does feature some mature
subject matter).

"Early One Evening at the Rainbow Bar & Grille" by Bruce Graham kicks off
the Hudson Players 67th season. Performances will be held November 18 & 19
at the Barlow Community Center at 41 S. Oviatt St in Hudson. The Cast
includes Jeff Rodgers, Judith Overcash, Alex Nine, Michelle Dolciato, Kirk
Worcester, Brian Pichola and Doug Lillibridge, with the show being directed
by Ron Cuirle. More information and tickets are available at
www.hudsonplayers.com <http://www.hudsonplayers.com/> , or by calling the
box office at 330-655-8522.

Tickets are only $14, with group, student and senior discounts available.
Meeting rooms are available before and after the show for groups and
fundraising options are available. Season tickets are also still available
providing tickets to all three of the groups main productions for $28. In
addition, the Hudson Players popular Dinner and Show package is also
available in conjunction with Hudson's Restaurant on the Square for $62 per
couple, including dinner (appetizer, and main course from Hudson's menu) and
show. Details, season books and regular show tickets are available via the
groups website at www.hudsonplayers.com or via phone at 330-655-8522. Dinner
and Show package tickets must be purchased via the phone.

Up next are the Hudson Players Naughty and Nice holiday shows. On the
Naughty side is "The Eight: Reindeer Monologues," an adult oriented
(definitely not for the kids) holiday production by Jeff Goode, that
provides some unknown background on Santa straight from the mouths of his
reindeer. Presented December 2 & 3, this dark comedy will have you rolling
in the aisles during the show and talking about all the topical issues it
stirs up afterwards. On the Nice end of the holiday spectrum will be The
Largely Literary Theater Company's popular three actor production of "A
Christmas Carol". This area favorite is a unique telling of the popular
Christmas story narrated by Charles Dicken's himself. Presented December 16
& 17, it features one actor as Dickens, one as Scrooge and a one playing all
the other roles in the production. It's a not to be missed holiday classic.

The Hudson Players are an all volunteer non-profit community theater
organization and one of the longest running theater troupes in the area.
Volunteers are always welcome to assist with a variety of tasks including
publicity, poster distribution, set building, costumes and more. Auditions
to their shows are open to all with no restrictions. Additional information
is available at www.hudsonplayers.com <http://www.hudsonplayers.com/> , by
emailing info at hudsonplayers.com or by calling 330-655-8522.
