Well, not exactly, but the Talent Family's hilarious show, "The Book of Liz
" is. Come see what critics are calling "...a tasty comic treat" and
"...wickedly humorous". Stow Players presents the story of Elizabeth
Donderstock, a perspirationally challenged cloistered community member who
makes the cheese balls that sustain their way of life until the arrival of
Brother Brightbee, when she feels under appreciated and decides to run
away. She meets a cockney speaking Ukrainian family, finds work at a
pilgrim themed restaurant run by recovering alcoholics and quickly moves up
the management ladder much to her chagrin. Meanwhile, back at Cluster
Haven, the cheese balls cannot be replicated and the community is on a fast
track to ruin. Will they be saved? Who mysteriously goes missing? What is a
breakfast burrito?
Find out on either Friday or Saturday, November 18 & 19, at 8 PM at the
Heritage Barn at Silver Springs Park in Stow. Reservations can be made by
calling the Stow Players hotline 330-655-6051. Ticket prices are $12
general admission, and $10 for senior citizens and students. For details,
visit www.stowplayers.net
